One of the biggest troubles that I encountered when I first got into Texas hold’em was figuring out what cards to bet on in what Location. Frequently I would receive burned on a hand that I thought was a good starting hand. Come to locate out they were beneficial hands, just not in the position I was wagering them from. Here is a pretty basic list of what sort of hands to play and what placement it’s suitable to wager on them in. Keep in mind this chart doesn’t factor in raises or suits.

Wager on From Any Location

Ace, Ace King, King Queen, Queen JJ Ten, Ten Nine, Nine Eight, Eight Ace, King AQ AJ AT King, Queen KJ

Play Mid to Late Placement

66 55 KT Queen, Jack Queen, Ten Jack Ten

Bet on in Late Placement Only

A9 Ace, Eight Ace, Seven K9 King, Eight Queen, Nine Jack, Nine J8 Ten, Nine Ten, Eight Nine, Eight 97

Should you be just beginning to wager on poker, playing these hands at the recommended positions will help you often be in a safe location prior to the flop. As your casino game progresses, you will be able to add a lot more hands to this list and know how to wager on them in specific situations. If you’re just starting to wager on cards, I would recommend wagering for nickels and dimes at residence or for no cost at a web based poker site. Poker web sites are nice because you get to see quite a few more hands per hour than you do at household. A few goods websites to wager on for free of cost are UltimateBet and PartyPoker.com.
